The Red II Green facility  is part of Shell’s Powering Progress strategy, which aims to produce low-carbon products like hydrogen and renewable diesel. The production of traditional fuels will decrease by 55% by 2030, and low-carbon fuels will help meet transport sector demand. Rodelta’s pumps are essential in this proces and will help to avoid 2,800,000 tonnes of CO2 emissions yearly. This is equal to take more than 1 million European cars off the roads The facility is expected to start production in 2024 and will aid in achieving the Paris Agreement’s climate goals.

Worley executed the EPC part of the Red II Green project. They awarded a contract for the API610 OH5 pumps to Rodelta as Shell TAMAP approved supplier. The contract includes the design, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, inspection, testing and shipment of the complete packages. For several critical items, Rodelta designed seven OH5 pumps, with zero deviations to the API610-12^th edition, for different types of application and services.
