I agreeDrinking water distribution pumps for a Dutch drinking water producer. Rodelta supplied 2 SPV rinse water pumps and two high pressure pump skids. The skids are fitted with a UP 300/57 (BB1) pump. The pumps on a skid were also built into a sound enclosure and are fitted with a flywheel according to customer specifications.

Country: Netherlands
Location: South of the Netherland
Project: Drinking water distribution
Scope:
• 2 skids UP (BB1) pumps Incl: flywheel and sound enclosure
• 2 SPV pumps
Rodelta built two drink water distribution pump skids for a drinking water company in the Netherlands. These pump skits consist of an between bearing pump with a 2 ton flywheel between the couplings. The entire unit is driven by a 400kW powerful energy-efficient electric motor. (per unit 900 M3/h – head 15 M)
The customer also wanted this set to be installed in a sound enclosure. The layout of the station was designed so that a left and right version had to be made. There had to be easy access to the parts that needed to be lubricated from time to time. Rodelta’s engineering department designed the unit so that all rotating parts are protected and even the flywheel can be removed without having to dismantle the entire sound enclosure. Lighting and heat dissipation of the engine were also included in the design. An artist’s impression was made of the sets. These impressions were used to communicate with the end customer where all the points that were important to the customer were checked and approved. Following approval, the unit was successfully built and also tested internally at Rodelta in the presence of the end client.
The mechanics then installed and finished the unit on site. Two SPV rinse pumps were also built and installed for this project.
Rodelta won this order based on the best TCO. They demonstrated that they had the best solution in economic and environmental terms for the entire life cycle of the product.
