The subsea production system for the Lingshui 17-2 field consists of 11 horizontal subsea trees, four manifolds, topside and subsea control system and a vertical tie-in connection system. The work scope also includes more than 70 kilometers of static and dynamic umbilicals, linking the subsea development to a new, semisubmersible offshore platform. Annual production of Lingshui 17-2 is estimated at 3.2 billion cubic meters (bcm), with maximum production likely to reach 3.39 bcm.

OH2 – OFFSHORE/UPSTREAM

Location: The Lingshui 17-2 field is located in the South China Sea approximately 150km offshore Sanya, Hainan province. The field water depth ranges from 1450m to 1560m.

Scope:
• 19 off API OH2 pumps
• 4 off API VS6 pumps
• 8 off vertical in-line pumps
Rodelta got rewarded for this offshore project due to flexibility and speed when it was most required by the customer. Short term decisions where key in this period, hence 24/7 support at that time resulted in this great order for the offshore industry including high level API pumps. Main delivery scope are the OH2 pumps, which are installed on a platform. Besides zero deviations on the API610, 11th editions, also the project specifications for offshore (painting, certificates, etc.) are a mandatory requirements. For the smaller size pumps we selected the custom made impeller/diffuser pumps. With this technology we are able to control essential API aspects like Head Rise To Shut Off (HRTSO), Minimum Continuous Stable Flow (MCSF), Best Efficiency Point (BEP) – within 80-110% of rated flow and NPSHr requirement. For the larger flow we have selected our volute alternative to best comply with our customer wishes. All pumps were delivered with full inspections and approvals by our customer in 2020.
